FYI - Data Place

Houghton Mifflin’s School Division has released Data Place, an interactive math resource for students in grades 3 through 6. Data Place is designed to improve students’ math skills by using fun explorations of statistics in everyday life. Developed in association with educators for use in classrooms worldwide, the site allows students to work cooperatively in small groups. When data is collected and input, students receive graphs instantaneously. The data can then be analyzed and compared with other groups in the class, as well as with any class nationwide.
