New Products - JVC E-Mail Management Solution

JVC Digital Storage Systems and xVault, Inc. have teamed to produce the E-Mail Management Solution, an end-to-end enterprise solution for creating, maintaining and archiving an entire organization’s e-mail messages. The system provides a comprehensive, searchable format for incoming and outgoing e-mails, and automatic disc printing to identify each archived disc. The system facilitates e-mail policy enforcement to improve overall productivity, helps minimize e-mail misuse, supports compliance with statutory and mandated storage requirements, and secures data from loss or espionage. Search and retrieval are offered via Microsoft Outlook plug-ins or Web browsers.

The system is a standalone Windows NT-based solution that requires no client software. The E-Mail Management Solution supports Microsoft Exchange Server v5.4 SP1+ with options for SendMail, Lotus Notes, multiple libraries and record keeping modules. The solution is available in configurations of 100-, 200- and 600-disc capacities and provides CD/DVD recording, labeling, storage and retrieval on a local area network. Other features include 50-disc removable magazines, 32x CD-ROM readers, 4x recorders, a color CD/DVD label printer, up to three separate SCSI buses, an LCD front display panel, a mail slot for discs, and trays for disc transportation.
