Late Breaks...IAETE

The Institute for the Advancement of Emerging Technologies in Education (IAETE) has been created to support the purposeful use of new and emerging technologies to improve teaching, learning and school management. IAETE exists in an open environment where practitioners, policymakers, business leaders and technology developers can interact with new technologies as they relate to education. Technical product developers share their technologies with the understanding that their products will be subjected to rigorous testing or adaptations before placement in an IAETE affiliated school. All products are carefully researched and tested in real schools to gain insight into how they address individual learning styles, needs of children with disabilities, cultural and linguistic diversity, and geographic or temporal barriers. The Institute is currently investigating advanced networking applications such as teleconferencing, virtual reality, data visualization and the delivery of high-quality digital resources. For more details about the Institute's research, visit www.iaete.org.
