Christopher Hons received his bachelor's from the The Pennsylvania State University's College of Liberal Arts in 1992. He is currently the lead copywriter and editor for the Outreach Office of Marketing Communications at Penn State. He taught for two years as a head teacher for a preschool in State College, Pa. Hons also wrote, directed and produced Why 2K: The Real Story, an independent short film that was broadcast on the Internet.

Lawrence E. Levine, Ph.D., has been a professor of mathematical sciences at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., for more than 30 years. In that capacity he has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses. Levine also served as head of the department of mathematical sciences at Stevens from 1990 to 1995. Recently, he was a visiting professor in the department of mathematical sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point. His research interests include ordinary and partial differential equations and perturbation methods. He has also made a number of presentations on the use of technology as a teaching and learning tool.
