ISTE Launches Minority Leadership Web Site

The Minority Leadership Project of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has launched a new Web site designed for members of the minority community involved in education technology. The site (ww2.iste.org/minority-leadership) is intended to provide a forum for sharing solutions, pooling resources, strengthening leadership, spotlighting success and meeting the challenge of bridging the digital divide. It includes resources such as live chats, a community calendar and a bureau of leaders within the minority community. ISTE's Minority Leadership Project is an offshoot of ISTE's Minority Leadership Symposium, which is held each year at the National Educational Computing Conference. It was initiated to continue expanding the work begun at the symposium throughout the year. ISTE, Eugene, OR, (541) 302-3777, www.iste.org.
