Apple, Gateway Offer Free Teacher Resources

Through the end of the year, educators can take advantage of Apple’s “X for Teachers” program, which offers a free copy of Mac OS X v10.2 Jaguar to every K-12 teacher in the country. Jaguar combines a UNIX-based foundation with Macintosh’s ease-of-use to create an operating system for teaching, learning and administration. Jaguar comes with free copies of Apple’s Digital Hub applications: iMovie, iPhoto and iTunes. Complete eligibility requirements are available online at www.apple.com/education/macosxforteachers.

In addition, Gateway is offering teachers and school administrators free access to technology training classes in their retail stores if they enroll by Dec. 31, 2002.
