Digital Duplication - Riso

Riso offers an alternative to photocopiers and laser printers with its CR1610, a fast, efficient and cost-effective digital printing system that connects to either a PC or Mac. The CR1610 is a compact digital printing solution designed to meet the special requirements of educational organizations. It controls printing costs by using a patented inking and master-making system to bring the cost of printing down to a fraction of a cent per page. With the CR1610's low operating costs and high reliability, users can double or even triple printing output without increasing their printing expenditures. The printer also has the option to add spot color, as well as the ability to print on a variety of paper stocks, including newsprint, construction paper, postcards and envelopes. The unit offers three print speeds: 60 pages per minute (ppm), 90 ppm or 130 ppm, with a scanning resolution of 300 x 300 dpi. RISO Inc., (978) 777-7377, www.riso.com.
