NeoMagic Corp. (www.neomagic.com) has introduced the MiMagic 6 Applications Processor, which is able to supply extra processing power without increasing power consumption, thereby saving the battery life. By executing 1 billion operations per second at only a 100 MHz clock rate, the MiMagic processor can produce four times more operations per second than other application processors. The result is faster processing that satisfies the demand for better performance by wireless handheld devices.
