LanSchool Updates Student Monitoring Tool

LanSchool Technologies, a developer of classroom management software, has released an upgrade to its educational software LanSchool. The release is designed to monitor student activities and progress while working on classroom computers.

According to LanSchool, the software features include:

  • Removing access to certain websites and applications;
  • Icons of current website and application students are running;
  • Student voting;
  • Teacher and student chat; and
  • Remote teacher demonstration on computers in the classroom.

The new release plans to offer free on-site customer support if a problem cannot be fixed over the Internet or through phone support.

Prices start at $599 for a classroom, with additional pricing available for volume, K-12 school site, and small classroom licensing.
