Computer Security Products Distributing, Supporting Xtool Security Tools

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Nashua, NH-headquartered Computer Security Products has begun solely distributing Houston, TX-based Xtool Mobile Security, Inc.'s Xtool Tracking and Encryption software products.

Working with Xtool for the last five years, Computer Security Products will handle Xtool's increasing sales volume and customer service for its Mac- and Windows-compatible products via its new call center.

That's no small task given that Xtool provides remote detection and security tools for laptops. Xtool's offerings are aimed at laptop-toting individuals who travel and organizations with legions of road warriors who depend on their notebooks. A signature Xtool product, Laptop Tracker, transmits a signal to an Xtool control center each time it connects to the 'Net, letting the center track a lost or stolen laptop's whereabouts.

Other Xtool offerings Computer Security Products will distribute and support include:

  • Xtool Asset Auditor, which lets administrators audit programs installed on laptops in a group;
  • Xtool Encrypted Disk, which encrypts confidential information; and
  • Xtool Remote Delete, which remotely deletes sensitive information on lost or stolen laptops.
