IntegraScan.com Offers Free Background Checks for Volunteers

IntegraScan, which provides criminal background checks, has announced a new program to supply any volunteer in the United States with a free background check. The company said its offer is a way to counter, as a result of the economic slump, the increasing number of organizations--including schools--that require volunteers to conduct and pay for their own background checks.

The background checks are provided with no additional requirements and no further stipulations. The volunteer must provide name, date of birth, and e-mail address, as well as the name of the organization he or she is volunteering for and contact details of the organization.
