Lightspeed Adds Standards, Reporting Features to LMS

An updated version of Lightspeed System's My Big Campus learning management system is now available. The new release includes features aimed at helping teachers meet Common Core learning and assessment goals.

Teachers using My Big Campus can now align learning content with state and Common Core standards. The system's dashboard interface Schoolwork includes a function that allows teachers to add these standards to test questions and assignments. Standards can be added to individual questions or entire tests.

Also new to the system is Academic Reports, a feature that allows teachers to assess student comprehension and performance. Teachers can create reports for individual students, entire classes, and around learning standards. They can also find and suggest supplementary resources to students struggling with a specific topic or subject.

Additional information about the updated LMS is available at the company's Web site.
