Online Course Creator Adds Monthly Plan, New Features

Easygenerator, software that helps educators design their own lessons, is launching a new monthly plan for would-be course creators that includes templates and features for publishing materials to the web or an LMS.

The company’s flat monthly Plus Plan is a new version of its web-based software that allows course creation without programming knowledge. Users can design courses by adding in instructional materials and various assessment questions. Course designers can also invite co-authors to help review and contribute materials.

When finished, courses can be uploaded to the web or an LMS. The software works with SCORM, an independent set of technical standards for the e-learning industry that makes it easier for various pieces of software to interact with a given LMS. It also works with the Tin Can API,  a related specification which helps track student progress from different software products.

The Plus Plan is offered at $39/month per author.
