Hawaii Department of Ed Adopts Statewide SIS

The Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) has selected a student information system (SIS) to manage student data across its entire system.

Serving more than 180,000 students, HIDOE's decision makes Hawaii the sixth state to choose Infinite Campus as a single, statewide solution. The department chose the SIS for the company's experience in large deployments, its ability to manage data for both districts and education departments and its track record of on-time and on-budget statewide implementations.

"We are pleased that HIDOE selected Infinite Campus," said Charlie Kratsch, Infinite Campus founder and CEO, in a prepared statement. "Beyond the power of the SIS, HIDOE will benefit from more than 150 in-house developers who provide innovative product updates at no additional cost, an expert implementation team to guide the transition process and an award-winning support staff to be there when needed."

The implementation is scheduled for completion in July 2016.
