Bonsai Lab Debuts 3D Printer with Voice Navigation

Bonsai Lab has launched a new 3D printer, the FabPod, featuring voice navigation and designed for use in STEM education.

The printer's software, FabPodUI, was developed using Unity, a game-development platform and features image-based lighting (IBL) to allow for realistic rendering before printing.

The FabPod is expected to ship this spring for less than $500 and the software will be available for free and compatible with other printers. More information is available at bonsailab.asia.
