Solar Energy Curricula Now Available Through Schools Power, ForeFront Power

ForeFront Power and Schools Power recently teamed up to develop and launch a number of educational resources that teach K–12 and college students the basic principles of solar energy.

The solar energy company and K–12 education organization are out with solar energy curricula and lesson plans, according to information from the companies. To access the materials and ForeFront Power’s intuitive online platform, schools and colleges must adopt solar energy through a power purchase agreement with the company. In addition, ForeFront Power is giving away free solar energy demonstration kits  — complete with solar modules, wiring, and lights or fans — to any elementary schools that sign a power purchase agreement by the end of 2017.
