Savvas Learning Acquires Canadian Digital Math Provider Rubicon Publishing

Savvas Learning, a provider of digital learning solutions across all K-12 grade levels and subjects, announced today it has acquired Rubicon Publishing, the developer of Canada's most widely used all-digital math instruction.

Rubicon’s MathUP, an inquiry-based math program for K–8 students, is the best-selling online math product in Canada, Savvas Learning said in a news release.

Rubicon was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Toronto. The publisher has earned acclaim for its digital solution for math instruction and for its diverse catalog of nearly 5,000 titles of K-12 literature (including adaptations and translations) distributed to students around the world. The illustrated books “combine effective instructional design with captivating content across all curriculum areas,” Savvas Learning said.
