NBC Learn Grants Free Licenses to Delaware High Schools

NBC Learn will donate NBC Learn K-12 licenses for the 2011-2012 school year to all Delaware high schools. The donation matches last year's Honda Foundation grant that provided all Delaware middle schools with licenses for two years.

NBC Learn is an educational service from NBC News that provides access to the company's historical archives and other resources. It is available as a subscription service to K-12 schools and higher education institutions. Features of NBC Learn include:

"NBC Learn's approach will make critical information more relevant, realistic and readily available to our state’s students," said Delaware Governor Jack Markell. "NBC News has played an important role in documenting so much of our nation’s recent history. Access to that information will help today’s students become tomorrow’s economic success stories."
