Follett Launches MyDestiny

Follett today released MyDestiny, a new “digital classroom library” that provides a range of books and resources for learning in remote, hybrid and in-person environments.

The new solution offers access to more than 50,000 multi-user eBooks and more than 100,000 vetted resources, with around-the-clock access for educators and students regardless of location. It also provides tools for aligning content to standards, tracking progress/comprehension and recommending resources. It also integrates with tools like Google Classroom and Canvas.

“MyDestiny is a true literacy solution where students build background knowledge, complete teacher-assigned lessons, and engage in independent reading,” said Britten Follett, executive vice president, Follett School Solutions, in a prepared statement. “Teachers will reclaim time by easily aligning robust content with standards, and librarians will have the opportunity to be even more empowered to work alongside classroom teachers to help deliver learning best practices to students. Librarians, for example, can collaborate to provide resources and books to supplement the lessons teachers are using in MyDestiny.”
