Teleconferences Explain Title I Elementary Programs

Education TURNKEY Systems will conduct the second in its series of teleconferences, entitled "New Technology Solutions for Title I Elementary School Programs," on December 13. The teleconference will share with the viewing audience results from a recent survey on the impact of new legislation on Title I programs. Findings include a planned expansion of pre-K through first grade and Head Start transition programs; alternative designs for serving non-public students; and a growing use of take-home computer applications for parent and child literacy. In addition, videotape copies of the first teleconference, which examined middle and high-school programs, are available for sale. Education TURNKEY Systems, Falls Church, VA, (703) 536-2310.
