Ethernet Adapters Suit PowerBooks

ConnectCard PCMCIA Ethernet adapters offer high-performance Ethernet connectivity for the PowerBook 190 and 5300 notebook computers.

The adapters support all popular network operating systems and protocols. Compatible with Apple's Card and Socket Services, the Type II ConnectCard complies with the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standard and Version 2.1 of the PCMCIA standard.

It is hot swappable, meaning the adapter can be inserted or removed while the PowerBook is running. It comes in two versions: the TwP (10Base-T) and TnT (10Base-2, thin coax); both sell for under $200. Sonic Systems, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, (408) 736-1900, www.sonicsys.com.
