Stat SW Tailored to Business Students

SPSS 6.1 for Windows for the Business Student delivers much of the functionality found in the professional version of SPSS. It features data sets from several leading business statistics textbooks used in higher education.

Students can perform a full range of analyses, including cross-tabular analysis on combinations of categorical information, one-sample t-tests and linear regression. In addition, analyses automatically use meaningful labels instead of numeric ones. Graphs may be displayed onscreen or imported to Microsoft PowerPoint or Word presentations.

An extensive online help and tutorial system provides an overview of the data analysis process as well as detailed instructions.

The program is produced by SPSS, Inc. (www.spss.com) and distributed through Prentice Hall. Prentice Hall College Division, Upper Saddle River, NJ, (201) 236-7139, www.prenhall.com. W
