Templates Simplify Administrative Functions

Software AG, in partnership with the University of Cincinnati, has released UniverSIS, a fully integrated set of application templates for student administrative functions. UniverSIS enables universities to improve student services and cut administrative costs through efficient re-engineering of business practices.

The templates provide students with Web-based access to information relating to admissions, curriculum, registration, student records, degree audit and more.

ìWith UniverSIS, the entire university runs off of one database and information can be updated and shared campus-wide in real time,î says Stanley E. Henderson, associate vice president of enrollment services at the university.

The UniverSIS system will be sold in modules, with pricing based on FTE size of the institution. Software AG, Reston, VA, (800) 843-9534, www.sagus.com
