Software Connects Students and Teachers
edConnect, anonline membership service for primary and elementary school students andteachers based on the edmark.com site, features a vast collection of softwareactivities supported by teacher-created lesson ideas, online resources, offlineactivities, student management software tools, and lesson-planning assistance.
The membership includes three components: the SoftwareCollection, the Software Manager and the Planning and Resource Center. TheSoftware Collection features Edmark’s suite of products, as well as newsoftware activities exclusive to edConnect. The collection has activities thataddress students’ multiple learning styles, and offer opportunities to work incollaborative environments. TheSoftware Manager allows teachers to import and manage student lists and classrosters, launch software from every machineon their network, and assign software programs to specific classes. ThePlanning and Resource Center provides lesson ideas, group activities, andpre-researched Web sites that reinforce concepts presented in the SoftwareCollection.
