Educators Can Create Their Own Web Sites Without Learning HTML

Starphire Technologies' SiteSage gives users the ability to launch and edit Web sites ranging in complexity from simple brochure-type content to e-commerce and search engine services. SiteSage's built-in security modules allow it to work well with both Intranet and Internet applications. The software combines technical programming, graphic design and content management tools to meet each user's individual needs. Educators from various departments can update their own content according to centralized standards without the need to learn HTML or FTP.

SiteSage is offered in two packages: the Standard Package and the Enterprise Package. The Standard Package, designed for relatively basic content management or Intranet needs, includes Web site building blocks, a basic counter, integrated file upload, up to 10 logins for Web site management, and a license for one URL on one server. Options include a basic Web-only directory and e-commerce applications. The Enterprise Package, designed for those needing to manage a larger network of content originators, includes the entire standard package and unlimited administrative logins with security privileges, optional front-end logins and enhanced page counters. Options include e-commerce with SQL, per-server license, advanced publishing and directory services. Starphire Technologies, Clearwater, FL, (727) 531-7953, www.starphire.com.
