KidBiz3000 and TeenBiz3000

Achieve3000 (www.achieve3000.com) is offering two Web-basedreading programs that focus on building students’ comprehensionand vocabulary skills, customized to their Lexile reading levels.KidBiz3000 (grades 2-8) and TeenBiz3000 (grades 9-12) sendstudents reading assignments on current events via e-mail. Thedifferentiated approach of KidBiz and TeenBiz means that eachchild gets to read at his own level and pace (even ESL/ELL learners),while covering the same material as classmates. Theprograms offer students resources such as writing andtechnology centers, even a stock market simulationgame. For teachers, the programs provide a variety ofreports to track student progress and help keep studentson task. Pricing varies.
