Animated Science: Site Expands Multimedia Content

Educational content provider Facts on File has expanded the range of reference materials on its science Web portal Science Online. The newly updated site adds video content, expanded images, and essays on science.

Science Online is a subscription-based service offering curriculum-oriented content covering a range of disciplines, from astronomy to biotech to marine biology. The newly revised site includes more than 280 new searchable videos (with support for browsing by topic as well), each with accompanying informational pages; hundreds of new still images, including 550 diagrams and 40 illustrations and photographs; and new essays with links to related articles and experiments.

Science online is targeted to students in grades 6 through 12. A free trial subscription is available. More information can be found at the link below.
