Intel Pumps $120 Million into Science Programs

Intel this week announced that it's infusing $120 million into science programs over the next 10 years through the Society for Science & the Public (SSP), a non-profit organization that aims to advance public participation in science research and education. It's the largest single investment made to date by the Intel Foundation.

Cerego has taken its first step toward opening its iKnow! social learning platform, a technology from aimed at integrating collaboration and learning into Web-based content, with the launch of the iKnow! Developer Portal. It's designed to allow users to create mashups using iKnow! content and is aimed particularly at "education- focused social communities."
