RM Easiteach NG Comes to Mac OS X

RM Education has released RM Easiteach Next Generation for Mac OS X, bringing a number of features to the Mac platform that had previously been available only for WIndows-based systems.

RM Easiteach is a classroom software suite that's designed to serve as a single platform integrating functionality between whiteboards, classroom clickers (interactive polling devices), and other technologies. It's designed for a variety of grade levels and can be used to create both lessons and activities, and it includes pre-designed content packs covering math, English/language arts, science, and geography. It also allows for existing lessons to be adapted from Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as video files.

In addition to an updated GUI and various new interface elements, the new Easiteach NG for Mac OS X adds support for Easiteach widgets and compatibility with .iwb files. It also includes more than 250 interactive lessons, according to RM. To coincide with the launch, the company has also debuted a new resource site, called RM Easilearn, which offers free updates and downloadable materials for use with RM Easiteach software.

RM Easiteach Next Generation for Mac OS X is available now as a free upgrade for schools using previous Mac versions of the software. (The free upgrade will only be available through January, according to RM.) Further information can be found here.
