Extron Expands AV Touch Panels with High-Resolution Displays

Extron's 10-inch TLP 1000 TouchLink touch panel sports a native resolution of 1,024 x 600.

Extron has started shipping larger, higher-resolution versions of its TouchLink AV control panel system, the TLP 1000MV and TLP 1000TV.

TouchLink panels are full-color, tabletop and wall-mountable control systems ranging in size from 3.5 inches to the new 10-inch models. The devices offer a touch interface with a fully customizable UI, a pre-built UI theme pack, control software, drivers, and a configuration utility.

The new models offer an 18-bit, 118 PPI LED-backlit active matrix TFT display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600, brightness of 200 nits, and contrast ratio of 500:1. The new models also include an integrated Ethernet port (10Base-T/100Base-TX) with support for IP Link control processors and power over Ethernet.

Other features include:

  • Integrated speakers;
  • Sleep timer and motion detector for energy savings;
  • Automatic clock synchronization; and
  • 48 MB flash memory, 8 MB system RAM, and 128 MB graphics memory.

The TLP 1000MV (wall mount and lectern mount) and TLP 1000TV (tabletop and VESA mount) are available now. Further details can be found here.
