LearningMate Updates Content Authoring Platform

LearningMate Solutions has launched an updated version of its digital and interactive learning content authoring tool, Frost.

"Frost was engineered to serve as the central hub for digital-first content development," according to a news release. "It's tightly integrated creation, collaboration and storage features and vendor-neutral integration approach allows its customers to retool their development processes to be both flexible and current."

The latest version includes dashboard enhancements and a redesigned content tagging workflow. It is also designed to improve workflow reporting and content discoverability and reusability in an effort to increase speed and efficiency.

Fully customizable, Frost supports EPUB 3 development "and provides the ability to develop course sequences and publish them as IMS Common Cartridge packages," according to a news release. "This latest release also incorporates integration with LearningMate QuAD — a full-featured assessment authoring platform."

"Frost was founded in detailed research and analysis of workflows at leading digital curriculum providers." said LearningMate CEO Samudra Sen in a prepared statement. "As we've expanded the platform, that approach has remained core to our development philosophy. We've worked closely with our partners to understand the requirements of designing and supporting next generation content architectures and collaborated to develop and fine-tune the features that better enable their success."
