Microsoft Launches Mixed Reality Grant Program

At the ISTE 2018 conference taking place this week in Chicago, Microsoft today formally launched a new grant program aimed at bringing mixed reality to schools and libraries. Applications are due in two weeks.

The Limitless Libraries grant program is open to middle and high schools, as well as public libraries. Twenty grant prizes will be awarded. The prizes include:

  • Two mixed reality headsets;
  • Two computers;
  • Training;
  • E-mail support; and
  • Access to other winners.

The value of the headsets and computer is $3,800.

Applications for the Limitless Libraries grant program are open now. Initial recipients will be announced at the end of summer. The deadline to apply is July 9. Complete details can be found at onedrive.live.com. An application form can be found at forms.office.com.
