Get Filtered Internet Data Via Satellite From Service

NetCast is a managed satellite data network, from SieCom, Inc., that delivers Internet Usenet newsgroups and e-mail, filtered for K-12 schools, directly to schools' PC networks across the continental U.S. This means schools need not have a direct Internet connection to receive Usenet material or exchange mail. WGVU-TV/WGVK-TV, the Public Broadcasting arm of Grand Valley State University, has been appointed the U.S. Master distributor for NetCast. Fifteen dealers in a national network have been signed up so far. These dealers are also Zenith Educational Product resellers. SieCom, Inc., Grand Rapids, MI, (800) 442-2771.
