Preview COMPanion SW for Macs on Free CD

A free CD is out for school librarians and teachers who want to explore their options for library automation or computer lab teaching software on the Macintosh platform. The CD-ROM contains a fully functional trial version of Alexandria, complete with a guided tour booklet. A top-selling library automation system for the Mac, Alexandria allows access to multiple resources, such as databases, CD-ROMs, public library OPACs and the Internet. Also included on the demo CD-ROM is a five-user version of Lancaster. This program combines administration tools for a networked Mac lab with instructional tools for tracking student performance.
