Scantron Awards Six Scholarships

Scantron Corp. announced the winners of six $1,000 scholarships offered to California high school seniors. More than 900 students applied for the first-ever Scantron Future Educators of America Scholarship Competition. The program was open to all seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and the desire to become a teacher. Judging, based on student applications and essays plus counselor nomination forms, was conducted by a panel of business and education professionals. Winners can use their scholarships toward tuition, fees and/or books at any two- or four-year college of their choice. Scantron Corp., Tustin, CA, (714) 259-8887.
