"Sharp" Technology Enhances Image

The XG-E670U is Sharp's entry in the growing field of SVGA LCD projection systems. The unit delivers bright images with 250 ANSI lumens, a 350-watt metal halide light source, and Sharp's Super High Aperture LCD technology. It has a 6.4 inch, 16.7 million color TFT active matrix LCD with 307,200 full RGB pixels arranged in an in-line "stripe" configuration to produce uniform, high-resolution images. The 670's Super High Aperture technology allows 50% more light to pass through the pixel opening, resulting in a bright, consistent image. The unit accomodates VCRs, videodisc players and camcorders, supporting NTSC, PAL and SECAM video. It is also fully compatible with VGA and Macintosh computers.
