Media Storage System Accepts Zip Drives

MicroNet now integrates Iomega's Zip drive into its DataDock line of removable media storage modules. The combination lets users reliably save, share or archive data.

The 100MB Zip module weighs about one pound and has a maximum sustained transfer rate of 1.4MB/sec.

The DataDock portable transport system boasts a durable design to withstand shuttling between Docking Stations.

The system comes in a variety of configurations including a desktop unit that accommodates two modules and a rack-mount unit that accommodates up to six modules. MicroNet Technology, Irvine, CA, (714) 453-6100, www.micronet.com..
