NEW RELEASES - EIKI

The LC-X2U from EIKI is an XGA resolution LCD data/video projector delivering 3,000 ANSI lumens. The LC-X2U’s brightness results from a new 440 Watt DC metal halide lamp that outputs more light than standard lamps. Other light opti-
mization techniques, such as polarization capture, contribute to the projector’s brightness and uniform images. The image is rated at a 350:1 contrast ratio, with high color saturation.

The projector comes equipped with a 1:1.29 power zoom and focus lens, and projects images up to 40’ wide over distances up to 106’. Optional telephoto, midrange and wide-angle accessory lenses permit longer and shorter throws. The LC-X2U has a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, and is compatible with most workstations. Smart compression and expansion provide compatibility with inputs from 1280 x 1024 to 640 x 480.

Power lens shift minimizes keystoning in both directions, permitting offset ratios as high as 10:0~0:10, and eliminating the need for projector inversion in ceiling installations. The projector comes equipped with wireless and wired remote control, along with local control and RS-232 control. The LC-X2U is compatible with NTSC, PAL, SECAM, NTSC 4.43, PAL-M and PAL-N color video systems. It accepts composite, S-Video, and component (DVD) video input, and displays both standard (4:3) and wide screen (16:9) ratio, with advanced video scaling.
