Acquisition Enhances Company's E-Learning Solutions
EDmin.com has acquired Education World, an online resource guide to the Internet for educators, expanding EDmin.com's offering of e-learning solutions to support teachers, students, school administrators, parents and community members.
The Education World site (www.educationworld.com)links to more than half a million Web sites that have been examined by staff to ensure appropriateness and value for educators. The site provides a daily review of a recommended educational Web site as well as current, original content, such as lesson plans, interviews, educational news, editorial cartoons and opinion columns. It also offers a wealth of resources, such as a career center, message boards, links to national standards and a free e-newsletter on specific topics of interest to educators.
