Dell Introduces Microportable Projector to Complement Notebooks

Dell has entered the microportable projector market with a unit that is both feature-rich and affordable. The new Dell 3100MP is a 3.5 lb., 2.2" thin projector that features DLP technology, up to 1,050 ANSI lumens of brightness and native XGA resolution, which automatically scales up to UXGA resolution. It delivers a projection size up to 294" and a throw distance ranging from from 3.3' to 39.4'. The projector is housed in a durable magnesium casing and features true plug-and-play compatibility with most notebook PCs and digital keystone correction.

The Dell 3100MP supports a full range of TV and video standards, including NTSC, PAL, SECAM and HDTV. It has a flexible orientation that makes it suitable for use on the desktop or mounted on the ceiling, as well as allowing for rear/front projection. The Dell 3100MP also includes a built-in 2-Watt speaker and a remote control with laser pointer. Educators will appreciate the projector's portability, remarkable image quality and integrated zoom lens. Dell, Austin, TX, (800) WWW-DELL, www.dell.com.
