FrameWorks

Teachers can now assess themselves with FrameWorks by Lucid Data Corp. (www.lucid-data.com), a tool that supports teachers in self-assessment, as well as helps coaches and supervisors in providing specific feedback on teachers’ performances. FrameWorks was developed in collaboration with author and educational consultant Charlotte Danielson. In addition to completing self-assessment and coaching forms, FrameWorks enables staff members and coaches to exchange e-mail, as well as pre- and post-assessment comments. And because FrameWorks is a component of the PDExpress professional development system, coaches have access to professional development records. They also are able to identify and suggest workshops, resources, and out-of-district activities to staff members they are coaching.
