Interwrite SRS Adds Compatibility with LearnStar

Interwrite Learning has partnered with LearnStar to offer compatibility between the two companies' education technologies. Interwrite manufactures and develops student response systems designed for classroom use; LearnStar is the developer of SmartTRAX software and state-aligned question banks for classroom assessments.

Through the partnership, SmartTRAX adds compatibility with Interwrite's PRS RF handsets. The new compatibility features are offered via a plugin that can be installed at teachers' workstations, allowing students to engage in SmartTRAX activities via the handsets.

According to Interwrite, the SmartTRAX plugin takes "full advantage" of the Interwrite PRS system, including "offering a wide variety of questions types that cover the full range of subject areas and grade levels."

Interwrite and LearnStar will demonstrate the system at NECC June 25 to 27 at booth 2034.
