BenchPrep App Provides Social Test Preparation
BenchPrep has launched the BenchPrep app, a cross-platform test preparation and learning app.
The BenchPrep app features material for tests including the SAT, GRE, LSAT, GMAT, and MCAT, and allows students to review material, take practice tests, study flashcards, see progress reports, chat with peers, and compare their performance with other users.
According to information released by the company, the app will soon include the following additional features:
- A social Q&A will allow users to post questions to be answered by peers and tutors;
- Public notes will give students the ability to post and access notes about review materials, practice questions, additional resources, and study tips;
- Study plans will allow students to set up a schedule and receive alerts and notifications;
- Students will be able to compete against each other and track their progress through leaderboards, and earn rewards and credibility within the app;
- SMS quizzes; and
- Study groups.
The BenchPrep app is free, but the study materials and books, provided by publishers including McGraw-Hill, John Wiley, and Cengage Learning, must be purchased.
