Web Help Desk Adds Support for Lion
Web Help Desk, an online cross-platform service desk management solution, now supports Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
Web Help Desk provides server-side operating system support for Windows Server, Mac OS X, Linux, and Unix, and server-side database support for Windows SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, OpenBase SQL, Postgre SQL, and FrontBase. Web Help Desk also has features that cover areas such as:
- Incident management;
- Communication and correspondence;
- Account management for lightweight directory access protocol and active directory;
- Asset management; and
- Billing and parts management.
Web Help Desk is available in Free, Lite, and Pro editions with separate pricing structures for commercial and non-profit organizations. Pricing is based on the number of named logins for service desk personnel and management.
