Odysseyware Converts Courses to HTML5

Odysseyware has converted its 60 most popular online courses to HTML5 to make them accessible via any mobile device.

The company's new virtual labs are also built on HTML5 and the remaining online courses will be converted in "the coming months," according to a news release. Odysseyware's new virtual labs are built on HTML5 for use on any mobile device.

"More schools are shifting to 1:1 and BYOD programs, and we want students and teachers to be able to access our courses no matter what device they are using," said Beth Te Grotenhuis, president of Odysseyware and CEO of its parent company, Glynlyon, in a prepared statement. "This switch from Flash to HTML5 is just another way we are constantly evolving to keep up with the latest trends in educational technology."
