A new Internet service for K-12 institutions, SchoolSite will host a school's Home Page on the World Wide Web, including free monthly updates&emdash;for $90a month.Students, parents and teachers can access the site at any time from school or home, interact with each other, then from there, go out and traverse the rest of theInternet.School staff can create their own Home Page, or the firm will create it via a customizable Home Page template. The template includes a Welcome Tour,Student/Teacher Center, Student Newspaper, Homework Reference, School Events and Sports Calendars, Science Lab, Parent/Alumni News and StudentProjects.Each school is initially allotted 1MB of server space. Since Home Pages are on SchoolSite's own server, no access to school files is possible. Affordable scanningand digitizing services are also offered.     Google has introduced a variety of features across its products for education, announced recently at the 2025 BETT ed tech event in London. Among the additions are enhancements to Google Classroom and new tools for Chromebooks, "designed to help address the diverse needs of students around the world," Google said in a blog post.
