Ulead MPEG Converter is a software-based program that allows users to create compressed video files for full-motion playback on PCs with MPEG playback capabilities. In addition to two-way conversion between Video for Windows and MPEG files, the program lets users control the quality of the file they are creating. Conversion parameters such as data rate, frame rate, audio channels and sampling rate are adjustable during the conversion process. Other options include single or batch conversion, the ability to convert only portions of a file, file preview and saving of settings and file lists for future batch processing.
