Hewlett-Packard Company has announced two new printers that utilize thermal inkjet technology. The DeskJet 970Cse/Cxi Professional Series color printer and PhotoSmart P1100/P1100xi printer. Both printers have an auto-duplexer, providing automatic two-sided printing and a manual print-cancel button to stop print jobs.

The printers can produce up to twelve pages of text per minute and, using the enhanced Color Layering Technology, color graphics
