Flexible Furniture - CAD/Drafting Furniture

Flexible Furniture now offers custom-designed and fabricated CAD/Drafting furniture for use in high school or vocational training programs where students need to make the transition from drafting boards to computer-aided design as part of their coursework. Using its Angle-Tech furniture line as a basis, the company can modify components to create a custom furniture solution. This line of modular steel furniture is engineered to withstand rugged use. Each workstation features a scratch-resistant, high-pressure laminate top with matching drafting board. The ergonomic design provides maximum student comfort for both drafting and CAD tasks.

In a typical classroom application, each modular drafting station would include a tilted drafting area, a flat reference/monitor area, a CPU cabinet, student storage drawer and a keyboard tray. Options include wire and cable management, and a lockable CPU cabinet that permits student access to only the power switch and removable media drives. Mobile pedestals with locking casters make reconfiguration of the workstations easier. Flexible Furniture Division, Plainwell, MI, (800) 875-6836, www.flexiblefurniture.com.
