SAS inSchool Offers Internet Subscription Service

SAS inSchool recently launched its Internet subscription service, which employs multimedia and is linked to a teacher-planning environment, for the core high school topics in English, math, science, social studies and Spanish. Teachers can access materials in more than 200 topics in the core subjects, which are mapped to state and national standards. SAS inSchool provides Web-based products for teachers and students in grades 6-12. The program includes Curriculum Pathways for teachers, a teacher’s planning environment that offers a wealth of resources in a flexible, easy-to-use environment. Each topic includes Web lessons that integrate the Internet into the learning process, projects that involve student-directed learning, and Web resources linked to teacher-evaluated sites.

Sold as an additional subscription, InterActivities are student products appropriate for classroom instruction, homework or test reviews. Web Inquiries are student online activities structured around a focus question. Students read, research and respond as they address fundamental skills and concepts. InterActivities cover a wide range of topics that require critical thinking and reasoning. Students explore, apply and analyze content through interactive multimedia. InterActivities also complement the resources found in Curriculum Pathways. SAS inSchool, Cary, NC, (888) 760-2515, www.sasinschool.com.
